Dating back to 1690, Régi Posta Hotel és Étterem is Debrecen’s oldest standing building. The completely refurbished property does an excellent job of blending modern design elements with some of the building’s original features. Rooms are individually decorated, with natural wood and stone materials featuring heavily in the design. All rooms have a private bathroom, TV and a balcony or terrace with views of the garden. Guests are sure to enjoy quirky design ideas, such as beds fashioned from old western wagons. Wi-Fi is available in rooms free of charge. Régi Posta Hotel és Étterem’s restaurant serves traditional Hungarian cuisine. Food and drink can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the dining hall which features arched red-brick ceilings. Debrecen’s city center is a 5-minute walk away. Shops, restaurants, bars and cafes can be visited there.
