Preferred Partner Programme - STAYFORLONG

How our Preferred Partner Programme works

Some properties may appear in a highlighted position in search results as a result of a commercial arrangement with our platform. This page explains what the programme involves, how to recognise it, and what protections apply to you.

What the programme is

The Preferred Partner Programme is a service through which a property (or the connectivity provider representing it) may enter into an agreement with STAYFORLONG, S.L. to secure a highlighted position in search results in exchange for a commercial fee.

Participation is entirely voluntary, open, and non-exclusive: any listed property may apply to join, provided it meets the minimum quality standards set by STAYFORLONG.

How to recognise it

Any property appearing in a highlighted position under this programme is clearly and visibly identified with a label shown next to the result, in accordance with European consumer protection and digital services regulations.

Clicking on the label will bring up additional information about the sponsored result, including:

  • That the result constitutes a commercial communication.
  • On whose behalf the property is presented, either the establishment itself or its connectivity provider.
  • Who is funding the highlighted position, if different from the above.
  • Key information about the main parameters used to show you that result.
Programme scope

The programme only applies to the default search results view. As soon as you apply any filter (price range, minimum rating, amenities, location, etc.) or select a manual sort order (price, rating, distance, category), the programme no longer applies. Results are shown solely according to the criteria you have selected, and no property receives a highlighted position through a commercial arrangement. Properties enrolled in the programme may still appear in results if they match your filters, but without any positioning advantage or sponsored label.

The relationship between a highlighted property and STAYFORLONG, S.L. is strictly a commercial arrangement and does not imply endorsement, any additional guarantee, or any corporate affiliation.

Remuneration model

CPA The property or its connectivity provider pays the platform on a cost-per-acquisition basis: an incremental commission is charged for each confirmed booking that originates from a result highlighted through this programme.

Price neutrality guarantee

The price you see and pay is not affected by whether a property is sponsored. The fee is borne entirely by the property or its connectivity provider and is never passed on to the end customer.

Quality filter

Before a property can appear in a highlighted position, it must pass a minimum quality filter that is identical for all participants, regardless of the value of the commercial arrangement. Criteria include, but are not limited to:

  • Quality and completeness of the property's published information.
  • Average verified review score at or above the applicable threshold, with a minimum volume of recent reviews to ensure statistical reliability.
  • Property category at or above the established threshold (or an equivalent standard for properties not subject to official classification).
  • Real availability rate against search queries above the defined threshold.
  • Property-attributable cancellation rate below the defined threshold.
  • Compliance with STAYFORLONG's General Terms and Conditions, with no active serious sanctions.

If a property no longer meets any of the required criteria, its sponsored status will be removed automatically, regardless of the status of its commercial arrangement.

Legal framework

This programme has been designed to comply with European and Spanish consumer protection and online platform transparency legislation, including in particular:

Your rights

  • To receive clear information about any commercial arrangement that affects how a result is displayed.
  • To be charged a genuine price, unaffected by sponsorship.
  • To unambiguously identify sponsored results.
  • To know that the programme is disabled when you apply filters or a manual sort order.
  • To submit complaints to our customer service team or to the relevant alternative dispute resolution bodies in your country of residence. In Spain, the competent bodies are the Consumer Arbitration Boards and the Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs of each Autonomous Community. You can find the official list of EU-recognised bodies on the European Commission's consumer dispute resolution page.
